A new gathering in Madrid united faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, news european parliament and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
